Yesteryear had me on two self challenges: Tearless 13 Months and Anti-Fever. No lies.
Tearless 13 Months (November 11, 2017-January 5, 2019)
November 10, 2017 was the day of the last drops, a morning of mourning for the departure of mama's/grandma's second eldest brother. 11th was the challenge's prologue. For me honestly, as someone who barely sheds tears it was not an exorbitant trial although times of thin were undeniably existent. Someone would think I was only trying to hold the water back, but there was not any throughout that year and a month even when such dissipations or muddles struck; call it outrageous. In replacement for waterfalls or the illegitimate (should never be done), pen & paper, determination and He were always available. Gratitude was sent that I overpowered this self challenge—devoid of eye-drying, egotism objectives and crying-is-for-the-weak conception, it is for fortification (mental and emotional toughness) and resourcefulness (finding alternative emotion release acts). Crying emits the lingering sensation, but tearless eyes are something that may change you.
Anti-Fever (July 17, 2017-present)
After being in a best friend's birthday gathering with other best friends, I was sweltering on my walk home. I was better on the exact day of the new school week, 17th of July, the birthday of a favorite group member that I was extra thankful for as I recovered on a good day. In spite of repeatedly getting one-week colds after some time, I never weakened to a state of boiling at a high temperature. I even lacked sleep in some days when I delayed my activity or time or when I had to consume minutes just to accomplish things. I did not forget to rest nor disregard good health habits and my own system. This can be arduous if one exploits or lives a poor lifestyle yet as said, anything is possible as such a thing is good. Health may be more nourished by getting adequate resting periods, appropriating a good lifestyle, refrain from germ carriers (sick persons) as much as possible, maintaining oneself, and the like. Also, if you received a wound, wash and treat immediately to lessen or end the odds of infection that can cause fever. I just admitted the errors I really did and do right simultaneously hence here, no fevers for now (and hopefully beyond). This is a good introduction to avoid riskier diseases, in a general statement, "prevention is better than cure".
Happy and blessed 2019, people.
